About us
About Meridia Group Bank
We build calm, transparent banking software — one account for everyday money, transfers, cards and financing, in nine languages.
Our mission
Meridia exists to make everyday banking clear. Too many banking interfaces hide what matters behind clutter and jargon. We take the opposite approach: show people exactly where their money is, what is happening to it, and what to do next.
Every screen is designed so the important information is the first thing you see, and every action tells you what will happen before you confirm it.
What we stand for
Clarity first
Plain language, uncluttered screens and no hidden steps. If something affects your money, you see it.
Security by design
Protection is built in from the start — encryption, hashed secrets, staged validation and full audit trails.
Built for borders
One consistent experience in nine languages, for people who live and work across countries.
Accountability
Clear terms, honest information and a straightforward way to raise a concern and have it dealt with.
Our approach
We build with a deliberately simple, well-understood technology stack and keep the codebase small enough to review in full. Fewer moving parts means fewer places for something to go wrong.
Features are added only when they earn their place. We would rather do a small number of things well — accounts, transfers, cards, loans and financing — than crowd the product with options nobody asked for.
How we are organised
Meridia is run by a small team covering the areas that matter most to a banking product. We describe the roles rather than individuals.
Managing Director
Sets direction and is accountable for the platform as a whole, including this website.
Head of Security
Owns the security programme, from code review to incident response and vulnerability reports.
Head of Client Support
Responsible for help, complaints handling and turning feedback into product changes.
Engineering
Designs and maintains the application, the database and the release process.
